I Still Like It. — The car is a beautiful burgundy convertible, sporty but sophisticated-looking; not toy-car-like as so many are nowddays. That said, I got it at 114,000 miles and after a year of 35,000 miles driving developed the usual problems every used car gets. I'm getting 30 mpgs but am facing more repair costs. However, the 2.2L turbo still accelerates O.K., the body is rustfree, the interior immaculate. It is still way cheaper than buying a newer car. I wouldn't recommend any car to anybody. They will all break down at some point. Buy what you enjoy looking at and driving.

Pros: Beautiful car

Cons: Still needs work

What Do You Expect From A Free Car?? — One of the worst examples of American automotive engineering EVER. I can't believe they got away with selling this crap. This car was a true P.O.S. My great grandmother loved it, I 'inherited' it. (I wanted it cause it got better gas mileage than the Jeep). Only two good things can be said about it. It ran, and it was great in the snow. Other than that..it SUCKED!

Pros: Great in snow, got me where I  needed to go

Cons: too many to list.......

Not Bad. — I had the turbo convertible model. Not bad as far as looks go. This was one of my first cars, so I can't complain about it too much. But it did have its flaws. I couldn't imagine driving it without the turbo. It was slow even with it. The thing rattled like crazy. The stereo sucked. But the top did go up and down...and that's all I wanted in high school. Gas mileage wasn't great. It was a maintenance headache mostly because it was an old car. But I like my current car way better.

Pros: Drop-Top, Turbo

Cons: Kinda slow, crappy build qualilty, LOTS of stuff wrong with it.

1986 Chrysler Lebaron Gts — The car was very comfortable. I loved the digital dash. The car got really good gas mileage (for a turbo). Very quick for its age. Repairs were simple and didn't cost too much. The car had decent handling for a four door hatchback. Overall a great sleeper car. The End.

Pros: Turbo, Comfortable

Cons: Driver side window

First Car, Drop Top Though!! — was my first car, everything was very 80s, and very lo-tech except for the electric top which was a cinch to put down. however, 0-60mph in about 15 seconds and compromised back seats made being a teenager awkward (the compartments for the tops hinges took away about 30 percent of the rear seat).

Pros: drop top, and old people always liked it

Cons: serious piece of crap

First Car — This was my 1st car when I turned 16. It was purchased from a relative. I remember being happy as can be with this vehicle. No matter what went wrong with it, (smoke/steam from under the hood, loosing traction and spinning out in the snow, having the computer cut out when I made right turns) I was just happy to have had a car. In retrospect, this was a big time grandma car!

Pros: Seats were comfortable.

Cons: Styling, Reliability, Underpowered,
