Toyota Tuff. — I like that it is a tank.but its get-up-and-go not so good, deff not an interstate go-er. appearence: we had it painted not to long ago and we're about to interior stuff but it's still in great condition. it's fun to drive in the mud, through water, so i would say sometimes, yes its fun to drive. =)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: need a car thats okay to get dirrty.

Cons: if youre as short or shorter than me, stay away and cant drive a stick.

4runner — What is not to love about this wonderful truck-ertable. i mean, no one doesnt love the 4runner epically when it is topless. and, it can go just about anywhere. except through lakes. it does not like lakes or very large puddles

Pros: everything

Cons: nothing

Most Reliable Simple Rugged Manly Beastly Chick Magnet Ever Created — Amazing 4wd. Easy to work on (even though it never needs any work). Great on gas (although the 4 cylinder engine is pretty weak). Convertable pick up suv rock crawler. This thing does it all! My parents owned this car before me, and they would put me in the back as my play pen when I was a baby. I would swing on the roll bar and have a great time and it still runs strong today.

Pros: reliable, sporty and fun

Cons: weak acceleration and top speed

A Low Cost Burley Offroader With Good Fuel Economy. Reliable! — Fun exploring vehicle. Gets me everywhere without costing a bunch in gas and repairs. I recommend gussets, high steer, lift, lockers, regearing, heavy duty emu spring, etc... for more serious offroad applications. Great mini truck for that punk kid in all of us that wants to run over things.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: So reliable. I've gone places most can't travel. Even after multiple offroad beating she gets me home safe. The stock auto transfer chain case  You will be driving like a granny on the road(especially lifted/ +weight). Handles tighter switch backs, narrower roads, and rougher terrain than any of my friends trucks. Cheaper to maintain/modify than a jeep. The gas mileage is also much better too. Decent low rpm torque with the 22re. Lots of aftermarket 4x4 options.

Cons: No balls. Can't drive it with road rage. Steep hills kill your motor and transmission. Get extra gauges to monitor heat if your gonna drive it hard. Automatic transmissions need much electrical attention(solenoids, shifter, etc...). Regearing is essential for larger tires 33's 4.88. Throw in a locker while you're in there. Mercedes turbo bio-diesel is an expensive option for extra hp and mpg.
