Super Truck — This is the vehicle that started the compact pickup segment of trucks in the U.S. Probably the most reliable, durable vehicle I owned. Almost all Toyota trucks in the early 80's came with the 22R 4 cylinder engine that would outlast the rest of the truck. Pros: Reliable, cheap, easy to work on. Cons: The pickup bed is natorious for rusting out before the cab because of the type of alloy used for the bed |

A Highly Reliable Truck That's There When You Need It. — I bought the truck used for $800 and the previous owner had gotten bored at work and made it camouflage on his lunch break... go figure. It got 28 miles to the gallon and drove very well, but it was only running on 3 of 4 cylinders which didn't honestly seem to affect it much except at idle. Pros: Good gas mileage. Camouflage... fun to drive. Cons: Small and a bit finicky on start-up. |
