Cadillac With Ht4100 — A '80s Cadillac with the HT4100... Look it up and you will see all the bad things everyone says. Although, mine is up to 156,000 miles, I think that might be a record. In the past, some of these cars never made it past 20,000 without major repairs. It has no power, build quality is medium, lots of things to go wrong, and things dont always work right. I do like the body style, but when thats the only great thing, that tells you something.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Body style, comfortable, some nice accesories, and plenty of room.

Cons: Engine, transmission, electronics, brake system, overall mechanical design, things dont work right, and have to keep an eye on everything constantly.

Good Cheap Fun — Lots of fun to drive. Not real practical. Great for a camper. Always turns heads. Needs new vinyl roof (expensive). Some rust, am working on that as time and wx permits. Found original wheel covers, bumper extensions. Easy on gas, gets about 17 mpg. Heater touchy, digital climate control. A/C doesn't work, may not repair (expensive)

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: fun to drive, head turner

Cons: wish vinyl roof wasn't shot, and wish it had no rust.

Great Big Car — The car is solid, but the motor from the factory on my '82 coupe deville was junk.

Pros: Great body lines and rides like a dream

Cons: Motor Junk from factory

Beautiful car. Prefer two doors but just a minor inconvenience. Two extra doors makes for more electrical problems but other than that its fine. Extremely comfortable ride and plenty of power. Read More
