1972 Ford RancheroReview
Used To Hate Ranchero's But Now Love Them... — Here is my 72 ford ranchero 500. I brought this car from my late uncle in Calforina, may he rest in peace, about three years ago. I got the car repainted the stock ford 9a white, with the addition of a Gt hood and a Gt hood stripe to go along with it in the spring of 07, it had very minimal rust considering it came from Calforina. I am also rebuilding the stock 351 cleveland 2bbl motor right now with all good performance parts, and it is basically done and I can't wait to drive this beast with it's new power plant. I love this car even more now, becasue I got it from my uncle who just passed, and now it means even more to me. I hope that when I have kids someday, they could enjoy this car as much as I do.
Pros: A good old piece of American muscle, which they do not build like this anymore...
Cons: Not too many, but one I could think of is it is a old car, so it is noisy and not comfortable like some of the new cars are. Also I cannot drive it in the winter because it would probably ruin it. It also gets bad gas mileage, but what do you expect.
