It's Part Of The Family — Fun car I've had since 1976. The car goes pretty well with a 351C 4V and a hurst shifter. Stopping is reasonable for the times with large drum brakes. The car holds 5 adults in it with no problem , pretty leg room behind the front seats. The ride is very good, corners well enough for an older car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Good power, 4 speed, cool old car for shows and don't see many any longer.

Cons: Handling could be better, might change it at some point.

Great Ford — It was my first Performance Car. It was loved by all. A Great Car & got me to work. She was Red with a Black Vinyl Top. Black cloth interior. Automatic transmission. But it had it's Moment. It did not like the Winter. Drove 1976 to 1978 Blizzard.

Pros: Very Nice Car Style was that of the 1070's

Cons: Windows Leaked. Rust behind rear wheels

Awesome — Good performance for a house boat with a 302. I built the engine myself so it is now a 306. Its a 1971 model, not a new car, so ofcourse its got a few problems about it, but nothing serious that will cost alot. I will however within the next month or so have it lowerd a bit more with some candy blue and a leather interior. Also im gonna add a pop trunk feature with polished stainless in the trunk and blue neon lights so people know the buisness. Along with that there will be two 15's and four 12's.

Pros: Awesome American Greatness.....

Cons: If you dont like a little work that's worth it, it's not for you...

Love It To Bits — it's noisy, smelly, thirsty, handles like a boat....but it's so damn exciting to drive an has such an evil look. my torino has starred in a music video ,and runs 13 second quartermiles at the track....not bad for a big old car

Pros: knowing that your unlikely t see 2 of them together in a car park

Cons: none

My Torino — I loved this car. It would get up and go at the drop of a hat. I would pass everything but a gas station. 351ci Cleveland 4 barrel, Automatic Trans. I bought it Fla. while I was in the Air Force and I kept it till I lost my driving rights.

Pros: It's a classic

Cons: Not good in winter weather

Cheap, Attractive Daily Driver — Each time I drove this thing, I'd have to pump the accelerator at least 12 times, rather than once or twice, or not even at all. Nevertheless, it started each and every time I cranked the engine.

Pros: The loud, albeit smelly exhaust system was music to my ears, and complimented a gorgeous green and black body style.

Cons: The carburetor sucked, and the hood and rear bumper fell victim to surface rust before I bought it. In addition, it had evidently been repainted at least once in its life.

Who Wouldn't Want To Own One Of These? — She's a 1971 Ford Torino GT, not a Gran Torino... Has a rebuilt Ford small block 351 Cleveland, a Holley 750 cfm dual-line double pump carburetor with an MSD Ignition and coil, a C-6 behind the motor, Flowmaster mufflers and dual exhaust. She's got a 4.11 gear in a Ford 9-inch rear end. I'm running GT 500 wheels with BF Goodrich T/A Radials. Inside are a pair of bucket seats from a '69 Mustang Mach 1 with a Hurst dual gate shifter between them. Rides smooth, wide track and new suspension components provide great handling (virtually no chassis sway). Always fun to drive, never a dull moment!

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing
