11 Digit VIN number
I have an 11 Digit VIN number and no sites can track it because the car is 1973 and everything these days use 17 digits. Anyone know of any site I can trace the car with using only 11 digits?

it brought back memories of when i was young liked the ford sports cars and this was a great example of a duel purpose ride drives great just floats on the road steering is tight and really responsive lots of brakes as well as go just a few more ponys and it would be a blastMay 02, 2012

Performance - this has a 351 Windsor, c4 with a shift kit. It is going to perform much better this year because I am totally rebuilding the entire drive train.
Build Quality - This car is built to last, nice thick body sheet metal, and a full frame similar to that of a truck.
Appearance - This is the best quality of the car, it is a fast back with straight lines, it is meant to look like it is going fast even when it is parked, and it does.
Cost of ownership - The mileage is surprisingly good, it is easier on gas than our 2002 Dodge Caravan, and it does need some new gauges simply because it is a 35 year old car, but it doesn't require any regular repairs or maintenance.
Fun Factor - Oh it is fun, when people turn their heads to admire your car everywhere you drive and when you step on it and the rear wheels try to pass the front ones, which is what it is going to run like this summer, not so much last summer. Jan 30, 2010

Actually, She is a 1973 Grant Torino. 351 Cleveland 2 Barrel, 3 speed automatic. She is great for cruzing with my friends. The gas mileage could be better, but hey it's 1973 technology. The engine sounds good but with the transmission and rear end I can't burn any rubber.Jul 25, 2009

Another car I loved. My second car. My Mom bought it for me off of my friend. It had a 400 Ford engine. Looked a lot " Starsky and Hutch" at the front but way different at the back. Because it was a "Sport" the back was sloped down and lloked cool. Totally different lloking tail lights etc, from the regular Torino. Automatic transmission on the floor. I loved the extras that Ford put in them, like courtesy lights in the backseat area, etc. Mine was red with a really cool metalic stripe down the side. Until I smacked it up, and rebuilt it. I didn't have money for paint. My Mom liked the beige colour of my bic lighter, and paid for that colour paint job. Gimme a break, I was young.Jun 27, 2008

351 Cleveland V*, Red on the outside and black on the inside. I remember the only option it had - AM Radio.
This card would not die. I ended up driving it in the 80's. It was *huge*. In my memory it was about 8 feet wide and 25 feet long, but I am sure it wasn't...Feb 29, 2008

so I recently bought a 73 Torino for 1000$ and I'm planning on getting a new engine for it I was thinking about getting something that has better gas mileage like a 06 Camry and my car is an RWD car and the Camry is an fwd. am I an idiot for thinking I can pull it off or If I can pull it off. how so
