Good Out-ways The Bad, Especially Since I Can Mfix The Bads! — My dart is a slow-ass project. primer and rust galore. right now i have balljoint issues so handling is in the crapper more than usual. however i have big plans for this car. for instance, replacing the stock 225 slant six with a small block 360 V8. also respraying the car lime green and adding hood scoops, black out hood, bumblebee stripe and vinyl top. its goin to be the coolest classic mopar driver around! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: its a good ol' Mopar A-body Cons: its got its issues, its 40 years old |

. — 70 dart swinger. small bolt pattern rallys. 340 cu in v8. 727 streetfighter trans. 3000 stall. 8 3/4 rear w/ 4.11 gear. waiting on new engine 420 stroker and loads of bodywork. she aint pretty but she scares small blocks and big blocks alike. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: 500 hp 340 Cons: body is ROUGH |

70 Dart Swinger — 1st car, UGLY AS SIN ! That was then....now, I would kill to have it back. At 18 we rarely can appreciate what we have :) The car T-Boned a tree and suffered a radiator hole and a dented hood. Was the most solid car I ever owned. That slant 6 though, pain in the butt to get people to work on it cheaply :) Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Vintage Cons: VIntage |

Dart Swinger Review — Awsome straight line performance. Sounds great. 340; 4-speed; 3.91 rear end. Color is Top Banana with a black Bumble Bee stripe. Does not like corners. Build quality is typical 1970 economy car. This car is the most fun to drive I have owned. I always have a goofy grin on my face when I drive this car. Never use the radio. Pros: Fast and Furious Cons: Handles like a wet sponge. |

Never Should Have Sold It — Fast, loud, room for six, huge trunk, typical granny car with a huge set of balls. Built 340 cubic inch V8, 375hp, built 727 Torqueflite tranny. Pros: Pretty quick for a heavy car, sleeper Cons: Drum brakes, no power steering, shopping carts handle better |

1970 Dodge Dart Swinger Racecar/street Car — I am totally biased when it comes to my Dart...I have owned this car for almost 4 years now and have put many dollars and hours into updating this solid musclecar into the new millenium. I mean jeeze...My name is on the side of it ;) I built a new 225" Slant Six, bored .030" over to 229". I probably spent more on this six cylinder than most do on a healthy V-8, but then again...This means that the already undestructable slant six will be lasting even longer. The best of the best...Ross Forged Racing pistons that cost $550...And the list keeps going.lol The Dart won 'Best Car' my senior year of high school. It has been amazing at the racetrack...Very consistent and has helped me win many bigtime races. Overall I have over 1000 passes on the car in 3 short race seasons. Pretty phenomenal. And when I get the Dart painted after college, it will truly be a 10 Pros: Overall a great car when it comes to street use and race use. Very good reliabilty...Bulletproof drivetrain. Quite the looker, gets a lot of attention. Great racecar. Great car overall...Decent fuel mileage. Cons: The only troubles I have had w/the car have all been electrical. It is almost a 40 y/o car however. Also, the paint is showing it's age. |

Best First Car Anyone Could Have, Reliable And Utilitarian. By Noah
This machine was my first car. With $400 and buying it at night I actually came out on top. This car couldn't die, and had no ergonomics at all. No carpet, holes in the floor from rust. No trunk bott... Read More
