Cool Car — I like every thing about the car except the small back seat and small trunk, When I first saw the car I fell in love with the interior and then the power, I have had my car since 1978, My High school car and will never part with it.

Pros: good looking car, fast, I love the back brake lights and the hidden front light, I have the XR7 with the interior lights above the rear view mirror, all black inside, metallic blue paint, I love stepping on the pedal,

Cons: very small back seat and small trunk space

1968 Mercury Cougar — This is my favorite car, ever! Definitly, its the pride & joy of my garage!I wanted one in high school after a neighbor moved in with a 1969 convertible. I finally picked one up in 2000 & been working on it ever since.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It's cheaper to maintainance this car than pay a car note.

Cons: Since the car is pretty old, the maintaince won't end until everything is new on the car!

I Like Her...no Regrets Yet...lol — Ok this is not an actual picture of the car but this is a 68 cougar. I own this with my oldest son Jacob. He gets the pleasure of driving it...and if you read his facebook you no the drawback is it leaks PS like a sive for now. Ford motor company hydraulics in these years suck from my experience. It is a fun car...original 289 air conditioned car with vinyle top. Fun car to drive but you have to get use to the "ford float" in the steering. Has dual exhaust and a nice rumble. Headlight covers are operational as are the sequential blinkers. My sons daily driver....wish it was mine in 1981 & 82

Pros: Nostalgic, fun and not too many around

    Cons: FORD

1968 Cougar.... They Don't Build Em Like This Anymore! — It's a 68... it has issues... i've been in the process of rebuilding it for several years. i've just in the last two years gotten to where i can actually drive it. but the power steering is now out on it and i've lost the keys so it's pretty un-driveable now anyway. it's battery was donated to my bronco to get it running.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: hidden headlights and sequential blinkers.

    Cons: power steering's gone

'68 Cougar — this car has a rebuilt winsor 302 under the hood. the engene has less than 50 miles on it. the entrie car has only 48000 miles on it. the brakes are sad at best, but it a car like this would want to stop?

    Pros: fast, eye candy

    Cons: eats gas

Cougar: Classic Class — Olds Cougars scream class. Add a pristine vinyl to and Augusta green paint this cars looks plain badass. It has the original 302 and AT. For 40 years old the car is an absolute blast to drive anywhere. It is worth its title as a more luxurious version of the 'stang.

Pros: Very solid and awesome in general

Cons: needs new paint, even more power!

1968 Mercury Cougar Xr-7 Gt-e 7.0 Litre — 427 Sideoiler with a Stroker crank producing close to 500 hp , Braking covered by 4 wheel discs . Leather upholstery , wood grain dash gives it that elegant look. Hideaway front headlights, sequential rear turn signals . Easy to work on, Super fun to drive and I get thumbs up wherever I go !

Pros: 427 Sideoiler engine came factory in the first 357 built

Cons: 428 Cobra-Jet was introduced April 01 , 68 and the 427 was dropped for this engine , because of cost .

My Dream Car — Can anyone really complain about a classic muscle car? I loved this car and will own another one someday. I could squeel my tires in 2nd gear and it only had a 302. Imagine if I put a 345W in that car.

Pros: Pure muscle and an exciting drive

    Cons: Gas mileage
