The 1967 Chevelle SS kept the RPO L35 as its base engine, complete with its 396-cubic-inch V8 rated at 325 horsepower. Although the 375-horsepower engine was no longer available, aftermarket parts were available to tune the 350-horsepower engine to the equivalent of 375.
The '67 Chevelle received new 14-inch wheels as well as the new option of front disk brakes. On the exterior, a new bumper allowed more air pass-through, giving the car an appearance that some have compared to a mouth agape.
On the power front, the car lost some acceleration, going from 0-60 in 6.5 seconds, up .5 seconds from previous models.
After my folks both died - I found a 1967 chevelle 4 door parked behind the house. paint etc looks pretty darn good. It has 68000 origional miles on it. Whats sonething like that worth? Theres a 350 number on one of the emblems on the fender - all those emblem things are there too. I think it`s automatic transmission. My dad bought it and just didn`t ever drive it much. what size rearends came in 1967 chevelle malibu
i taped all the doors and windows shut in my 1967 Chevelle and I still get a whistling noise. I get the whistling noise with the windows up or down. i checked all the vacuum hoses and they seem OK, what could cause this whistling sound?
i have a 67 chevelle malibu 2 dr convertible 6 cyl 2 sp powerglide. was a 12 bolt rear end std or optional?
