When I hear caravan, the first thing that comes to mind is a circus. And when I think circus, the first thing that comes to mind is clowns. And if you think you can stick a lot of clowns in a Volkswagen Beetle, just imagine how many would fit in the 199-inch Dodge Grand Caravan!
At least seven, as the Grand Caravan provides three rows of seating. But, at 12 inches longer than the Caravan, that still leaves plenty of cargo room in the back. The 1992 Grand Caravan was little changed from 1991. Driver's side airbags became standard on all models, and integrated dual child safety seats were offered.
The always popular Grand Caravan was popular with soccer moms because of its easy handling and maneuverability in parking lots, its excellent power when equipped with the 3.3V6, and to comfortable and large interior. Transmission woes still haunt the Grand Caravan.
