Why does my engine make a rattle sound, sometimes. Makes noise while in park and when i come to a stop. Sometimes its fine and then other days it makes noise.

Rattling sound while in park or when i come to a stop. Doesn't always happen, but is
getting worse. Car runs great even when it makes this noise.

look on your bottom plate, i found a spanner on one, believe it or not. just have the plate remove and at the same time get it fitted nice again.

If the rattle occurs every few seconds and sounds like a baby rattle. Your problem is more likely the belt tensioner or a loose belt.
