Fuel Injectiors

Asked by Ren Apr 04, 2016 at 06:54 PM about the 2004 Kia Rio Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My fiance just bought a 2004 Kia Rio and
has already replaced the O2 sensors, and
put the car back in time because it's having
idling problems. We just had a baby on the
2nd and refuse to put her in the car until it's
running properly. He is having to replace the
fuel injectors (hopefully this will be the last
thing or we will have to replace the fuel
pump), but we can't find any place that will
help him to get to the injectors easily and it
seems like he has to have a special tool. If
anyone could give us any insight, it'd be
absolutely wonderful.

Yes- you are already learning the truth- these older Kias are just junk- disposacars- I think the new ones may be better, more reliable- for sure the new Optima LOOKS better- get rid of that thing quick and find something you won't have to repair every week-
