Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The Jeep over heats if I have to stop at a long light or
if I leave it running when parked... It didn't over heat
at all during the winter... But as soon as it started to
warm up it started over heating... Change the
thermostat but it's still doing it... Checked the fan and
it's not running... Checked the relay and it looked
fine... Could use some help!!! Please!!

Always go from cheap to expensive and easy to hard. Bypass the relay and put power on the fan to make sure it works. Electric motors fail all the time so it is possible. If the fans works check and change the fuse. then check all the wire connections and wires and check for a short, then use a OBD2 device to see what temperature the fan comes on at and lower it 5 degrees, then change the relay. If you don't have it by now go to a mechanic who knows more than me as there are computer controls that will need to be checked.
