2008 jeep liberty rear grinding noise when turning and eating up pads and rotor

Hey guys. 2008 jeep liberty .. has chewed up a new
set of pads and rotor, in no time, on the drivers
side, rear wheel, grinds when making turns and
sometimes on the straight away....current issues
are ...e brake doesn't work..esp light on..
Ideas??? .....thank you in advance for any input!!

I think there is a bunch of air in the lines and needs a good power bleeding or you have a caliper piston hanging up or both. As far as the rear wheel it may be a completely different issue such as a dry wheel bearing. If it is get both replaced (rear) All of the above issue will and can cause all sorts of warning lights to come on. The wheel bearings send a magnetic signal to the wheel sensor or tone rings mounted on the cv shafts. E-brake cable if equipped may be corroded and either needs lubed up or a section of cable wiring replaced, perhaps a simple adjustment due to use. Hope this give you an idea of what it could be. I once had a similar issue I went crazy trying to find. I turned out to be the rubber connective hose was deteriorated and not allowing the brake fluid to flow properly. A $10.00 hose solved my issue. E Brakes are another story. everybody looks at the disc brakes and neglects to check the drum brakes. I found a pile of rust inside my drums that used to be brakes.
