Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have what appears to be build up or yellowing of the interior of my taillight's
turn signal housing (the clear part). Apparently moisture got in there and
baked in the sun and caused it. It appears to be completely internal as
there's no breakdown on the exterior at all. My question is if there's an easy
way to get rid of this yellowing with some hydrogen peroxide or bleach? I
have a small funnel and I'm thinking of removing the tail light from my car,
removing the bulb and putting a little solution in there in order to lift the stain.
Does this sound feasible?
