Could wiring harness cause car no start

Could a problem with the wiring harness cause car not to start (doesn't recognize the key).  2007 Chrysler Crossfire Roadster.  Been at dealership for 3 1/2 months.  Thanks in advance for any suggestions/help.

well it depends what the wiring harness is connected to if it is anything in the steering column to the PCM it will if it is something in the back end of the vehicle like the fuel level sender wire. the key might need to be programed again
