How to turn off seat belt alarm

Other than hooking up the seat belt? You could find the buzzer and disconnect it but auto manufacturers are making it harder and harder to defeat the dang things.

Yup. The NHTSA is putting pressure on manufacturers for sure to prevent disabling the chime for seat belts. They make it where if it gets tampered with other things get disabled and no way around it. Just buckle up

My 20 lb dog sets off the seatbelt alarms, the rest of us do buckle up, I'm in healthcare and have seen too many TBIs and paralyzed patients to not, and my passengers are not allowed to become projectiles ;-) Turning off alarm is only for my sanity when I forget to pre buckle it and once on highway dog shifts into area that sets off alarm.

I read pulling the wire also disables air bags, so that's not happening
