2006 Honda Odyssey Transmission replacement - gunk on plug at 3k

In May of 2020 I had torque converter problems with my transmission (168k miles) and the shop replaced the unit with a rebuilt/exchange unit.  I was charged for a transmission, torque converter and 10 quarts of fluid.
My 24k/ 2yr warranty required me to do a transmission oil change after a certain period.  I just did it at 3k and was suprised to find a lot of gunk on the drain plug.  Should I expect it to look this bad?  The transmission oil looks fine.  Total cost, just under $3,000

Looks normal to me, the end of the plug is a magnet and any metallic debris will stick to it keeping it out of the internals of the valve body. Some transmission pans have multiple magnets inside of them.
