My AC is not very cold. Sometimes it doesn't even seem like it works. Is there a quick way to check freon levels, like a small window? Any suggestions?

Have the dealer performance-test the A/C for proper refrigerant pressure under load and operation of the various cycling switches, pressure transducers, etc. There is no easy-view refrigerant level indicator.
