What other engine from any other Ford car can I
put in my 2005 ford mustang........I have a bad
knocking Sound in my engine I was told it was bad
barrings and it would be a fortune to get
fixed......so I want to no what other kind of engine I
could replace it with..........and what kind of fords
have the same engine as mine......I have a 4.1 v6

Everything is expensive here in the 21st Century- it is all relative- you have choices, tho, and your car is good lookin' and will hold its value, so at least it is worth putting money into- first of all, get a second opinion and make sure you need a new engine, not just a valve job- then, if you need an engine think about having that one rebuilt- you might be able to find a used engine- you can buy a new engine from your Ford dealer- or a lot of other places- or just sell the car as is, take the loss, and move on to something else- your choice- nobody rides for free- especially these days-
you can replace any engine from 2005 to 2009.you can upgrade from a 6 cylinder to a 5-4 complete swap the engine harness will bolt into your fuss box easily you can check eBay for these swap kits they come with everything you will need it ia a easy swap
