Replaced Rear Driver's Side Turn Signal for 2009 VW Rabbit.

Asked by Alex Dec 09, 2012 at 09:35 AM about the 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit 4-door

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The bulb light lit up on the dashboard.  I figured out it came on because the rear driver's side turn signal
bulb was burned out.  I replaced the bulb and the signal now works properly BUT the burned out bulb
indicator light is still lit up on the dashboard! Does it have to be reset somehow or is there another bulb
out somewhere that I have not noticed???

Check your other bulbs. One of them has a bad ground wire. The power is back feeding through the turn signal indicator.
