2001 tahoe replaced battery now headlights and dome light won't work

I replaced the battery recently, since it was way over due. It started great and
drove fine. Since that was during the day, I did not notice that the dome light
and headlights would not turn on. The dimmer switch and headlight switch still
works. The override button does not. I tried setting it to automatic headlights,
but that did not work (pressing the dome override 4 times).
