The dash on my 2006 VW Jetta shows that the driver's door is open when the door is shut. Also the courtesy lights under the mirrors, the dome light stays on and the buzzer stays on. These eventually time out. I have replaced the door latch twice and the wiring harness. Please help since I have already spent over 1500 and still have same problem.

have you tryed rebooting your cars ecm? also try having the gauges checked by the audi dealer you may just have a bad circuit in your dash computer.

More than likely it is the door control module,(Window Motor). If it doesn't read the signal from the latch it will not realize it is closed.
