I just got a 1987 Pontiac Fiero Gt and everytime I park it on a hill it starts and then the rpms drop to low... any suggestions as to what may be causing this?

do you have the clutch in whan you stop cause some cars when you stop while its still in gear it will put friction on the clutch pressure plate and it will stall

Ya I have the clutch in. The car will run for five seconds and before it can be put in gear it will stall

I had a fiero that would do this,when it has lees than a half a tank of gas,tank is so small,when you park on hill,it would lose fuel from the fuel pump,this would explain why it only doe,s on hill.

if it dies when u let the clutch out try reving it some manual cars have a tendancy to n ot have the idle up enough so it will shake and die
