He was mumbling "i cant get the tensioner lifted" how can I help him get this done ???????HELP

look for a square somewhere near that pully for a ratchet or use a socket on the pully

the tensioner pressure is release by using a 3/8" ratchet or strong arm. Make sure you have enough room for when the belt is removed the ratchet can fully return to the open position.

or put a pipe on that ratchet.

okay so I just did my tune up. I drove the truck yesterday and it drove fine. everyone keeps telling me that the timings off. but I have everything in the right firing order and now its not starting its back firing and now I have smoke coming from under the hood. the spark im getting is an orange color. the truck is acting like it wants to start the motor turns but it wont completely start. please help! 4 Answers

just changed spark plugs, cap, rotors, and wires. the truck ran fine and started fine just yesterday. Chevy C1500, Motor350 5.7 V8.

Why is the air in my truck only blow out of the floor setting? I replaced the Blend Door Actuator and still the same problem? 2 Answers

The air sounds like it wants to come out of the defrost but it just wont. The blend door actuator replacement didnt solve the problem. What else could it be?

i have a 95 chevy c1500 v8 200k plus miles. new battery. seems to short out and die, and wont restart. when key is turned on the amp gauge barely moves up. ive tried fumbling with the obvious wires (+ - wires etc) with no change. its done this once before. i let the truck sit for about a month then bought a new batt and problem went away. today while driving it died, with the same symptoms. also ive notice that when driving the blinkers make the amp gauge fluctuate down with every flash. thanks in advance for response 11 Answers
