1997 PA, no heat from the defrost or at the floor, will come through the dash vents??

Direction of heat or cooling is controlled by a motor actuating the position of the "door" inside the heater under the dash, this motor has plastic gears that can strip, then no longer operate the door position, fairly common fault, several hours to install new motor, $130 roughly for a new motor.
