1997 Buick PA.....why cant I get the air to flow out of the dash and floor vents, only comes out defroster vent?

AC and heat work fine in my 1997 Buick Park Ave but i cant control where the
air comes out from. It is only coming out from the defroster vent. How can i fix
this and can i manually hook up something to change the air flow?

More than likely ur lacking vacuum to passenger compartment.ur question lacks a lot of pertinent information however when hvac system defaults to blow on windshield only a small blk vacuum line to pass compartment is broken or otherwise lacking vacuum is prob place to begin good luck
