I replaced the driver side cv axle but it still makes the popping noise like something's catching. If the left side went bad why can I feel it in the steering wheel?? I brought it back to the dealer ship a week after I bought it and they thought it was the rack and pinion, but obviously not.

A CV joint makes noise because of low lubrication may be the grease from the boot came out or the boot was not clipped right and see that if it comes when turning or just keeps on coming when u drive !
