1998 V-70, Driver's Window Stuck Down

Asked by SteveBody Nov 13, 2013 at 02:58 PM about the 1998 Volvo V70 GLT Turbo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I ran my driver's side window down this morning and it wouldn't roll back up. We've been
inundated with unforseen expenses this month and I  CANNOT take it in for repair. I'l quite
okay with temporarily just having the window up and unusable. Is it possible to get the
thing raised manually?

1 Answer

Same problem, replace drivers door switches, 170.00 part cost Autozone. Don't take the door apart there was no way to manually raise window. and the door/ window switches were replaced without having to remove door shroud.
