V70 wagon stuck in park

2007 V 70 wagon stuck in park was driving fine
last week when I last took it out cannot get it to
come out of park. pushed brake turned on and off
...no change. .any ideas before I call for a tow

There are locking solenoids that normally a wire breaks off, when you put your foot on the break pedal to release.. Not sure were there is the one for a steering column but if it is a floor shifter, It is down under the counsel.
