2004 vw jetta gls starting car in the morning!

morning only- turn on ignition high pitch noise, takes 3x stepping on
accelerator before car starts. no problems starting car during day.

code 19537 engine temp low.
is this a coolant sensor problem?

sounds like a coolant temp sensor internal failure.
