Vw jetta transmission

I have a 01 jetta vr6 5 speed manual i changed my
clutch, slave cylinder,  and fluid but when the car is
off the gears are fine but when i crank up its hard
to go in 1st gear and reverse but after going into
first while driving the other gears are fine.  Could
this be the syncros

Your trans may be worn but the problem may just be that the weather is turning colder and the oil is thick. Does the problem go away once the car has been driven for a few miles? Also check the gear oil level and maybe go ahead and have new oil put in the trans.

The weather isn't cold here in south florida it doesn't change when the car is driven a few miles but i will try new oil
