motor oil drain plug position

Scott answered 5 months ago
Clarify your question please? Location of drain plug is beneath engine on the oil pan...if faces directly to the rear of the vehicle. If you are planning to change your own oil, I recommend you purchase the drain plug crush washer in advance...and possibly a manual.

@Scott Ive also got an Mk3 and yes the oil pan is at the bottom of the engine underneath the car and yes thats right, the engine oil drain plug faces the back of the car. If you can change the crush washer, thats good to do also.
