How old is the battery? They usually only last around 5 years, mine went bad around 3 years old in my C230 all the lights everything lit up and it seemed fine but no crank. Since replacing the battery I have had no issues, I would recommend replacment if your not sure how old it is.

It's the original battery , so it's 10 years old . But I had the battery tested and they said it was fine . Do you still recommend changing it ?

I have a 08 CLK cab. with 20K miles, orgn. battery. Every time it starts boom.I think because of low mileage. It is sitting in the garage for the rest of the season. I have a Lexus RX 400H. First time battery was dead in the garage, 2nd tme in a parking lot. Wall Mart garage said, the battery was fine and took charge. But I did not want to take chances anymore with my wife getting stuck, So I got a new battery. After 2 times take no chances. It Is time to change. Batteries don't give any better signal than this(ie being dead)..

If the car sits for a lengthy period of time, put a battery charger with a trickle system on it. Around 20 to 40 dollars. It will send a low charge to your battery to keep it fully charged and not harm anything, even lengthen the life of the battery. those little puppies are expensive, and a pain when your little lady is stuck in from of the mall.
