where can i find a fuel level sending unit for a dodge 12 valve

Aftermarket parts store is about your only option for new parts. Going with wrecking yard parts is a gamble at best.

Unless it's a diesel, Rockauto.com has it. The sending unit is part of the fuel pump assembly. Hope that helps! Jim
