1996 dodge 2500 12 valve fuel issue

Asked by Mancav3 Jul 20, 2020 at 02:51 PM about the 1996 Dodge RAM 2500 Laramie SLT LB RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving back from California when I blew the
gasket on the fuel filter. I had no clue as the truck
ran fine up until it dumped all the fuel. Got the truck
towed home noticed the fuel filter leak. Replaced
the fuel filter now she won't stay running. I primed
the filter and the truck will turn over and start if I
press the throttle as so O. As I let off the throttle it
stalls instantly. With the throttle fully pressed I only
get 1500 rpms and again as soon as I let go it
stalls doesn't even try to idle

I'm thinking I drove a good 2 hours with this leak. Is it possible my injector pump is fried?
