I have changed head gaskets i
have also put new
raditor,waterpump,hoses,
belt,spark plugs,starter,
Working on getting new battery.
When i first drove it it did great for
haft of the day then all a sudden
temp went up 260.
Second day drove it had ot keep
pulling over getting hot again got
out and bleed coolant with
bleader screws. Water sperting
out never got steady stream of
water then it was nothing but
steady air. No coolant at all?
Third day When i start it idle runs
high in p & n. When in r or d it
bogs down real bad almost dieing
and when go to drive transmission
wouldnt shift first time its ever
done this. I. Did reset the idle on
it. ?
Any info to help me get it going
right again so i can get back to
working . Heidi

Heidi, It could be a bad Throttle Positioning Sensor, or the Air Idle Control Valve. But they may be unplugged, or the plug may be bad, Check over the engine make sure all the plugs make a good connection, make sure everything is connected, might get lucky and find something. Another problem on these is the intake manifold may be loose or bad gasket. You may also have a vacuum leak, check all the hoses. This could have been done when the changed the head gasket..
