For a 2003 Pontiac grand am how do I remove the drivers seat when the seat is blocking the two rear bolts by its being stuck in that position?

If the seat is stuck in a way the blocks access to the rear nuts holding it down, Try using an open end wrench and a lot of patience. Once the wrench has hold of the nut, you will only have space to turn the nut about a eighth to a quarter of a turn. That's where the patience comes in. When putting the seat back in, fix the "jam" condition and move the seat to its forward most position, tighten the rear hold downs and then push the seat to the back and do the front nuts.
