Is it possible to remove speed max on grand am

Asked by Akiraftp May 22, 2020 at 01:50 AM about the 2002 Pontiac Grand Am SE

Question type: Car Customization

I have a grand am SE v6 2002 with the 3400 Sfi and
when I hit the top speed (120mph) the car just
flutters for a sec and drops back down to 110. I
don’t know maybe this is a stupid question but I’d
like to know

I would like to know where you were driving that put your speed at over 100. I'll avoid that location. Your car is not made to go that speed and it creates a significant hazard for others on the road. I hope you were on a track or the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Sure I can say that if it makes you feel more secure. But at this point we should know it wasn’t ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
