it will not handle the power of a v-6

I don't know if it will bolt up directly but I know the transmission will not be able to harness the power from a V6. However, rebuilding the transmission with much much stronger gears and using either an adapter plate or a custom bell housing might work to harness the V6 properly. I'm going to attempt to merge a fully built up 5-speed from the 2.4L to a 3.8L SC engine next year.
