Check to see if it has anything to do with the delay setting. Check the delay setting.

When you say delay settings what do you mean check the fuses?

When you turn the vehicle off, its how long the headlights would stay on until they turn off.

When you turn the vehicle off, its how long the headlights would stay on until they turn off. There is a delay setting by the light switch. Do the lights and park lights turn off at all? After waiting awhile do they turn off?

No they dont turn off. The dinging noise goes off as if the key is left inside the ignition or door is left open. I have to unplug the battery everywhere i go its crazy

Try replacing the headlight relay, it may be stuck. I don't know the exact location but it would be in a fuse box either under the hood or inside the car on drivers side under dash area.

Hey I have the same problem with my 04 Grand am. Front parking lights stay on no matter what. The light switch is on auto so off, I tried everything from turning down my dimmer switch to wiggling my key in the ignition back and forth. No works to shut it off so I unhooked the battery. Please help!
