how to replace turn signal

in order to replace the turn signal do I have to take of the steering wheel,
disconnect airbag etc?

You have to remove the steering wheel> VW/s and audis don't really make the wheels hard to take off for easy serviceing. So take the horn out remove the bolt and simply pully. If it does not come off easy your going to need a steering wheel puller.
