2008 Jeep Liberty Radio

I have a 2008 Jeep Liberty and the radio no longer
produces sound. I can turn it off and on appears to
read out fine with station, but the volume will no
longer work. Will not even register volume
increases or decreases. I have tried disconnecting
the battery to reset but did not help. Any
suggestions?

I have the same problem with 2012 Jeep Liberty(no answer, sorry). Curious, does the sound work when you plug in aux? I am able to get sound when I use that with my phone. Just any idea for a work around for you.

Internal chip with cracked or broken pin(s). Will need to be taken apart and re-soldered.

Search Jeep Liberty radio problems and watch the you tube videos. It’s a bad/broken internal radio processor chip. I have the same issue with my 2014 Jeep Wrangler. Super irritating to have a radio that only lasts a few years. This is a common Chrysler problem with all their radios.
