What was the original wheel and tire size for 1977 VW Rabbit?

Depends upon the Rabbit? Was it a diesel, gasoline or GTI? Three ways to find out. Call Firestone and have them check in their computer. They will do this for you. You can always refer to the data plate on the vehicle, location varies. Check inside the door jambs. The tried and true method..read your owners manual.

If it had steel rims they used, 155/80 R13 and if it had alloy wheels (GTI usually) 175/65 R14
