I bought a 2009 VW Rabbit...it vibrates at 50 and above. Was told it's the rims...they are not the original. What size do I need to buy and where do I find original not knockoffs...which is what I have. The tires are new P195/65R/15 (according to the sticker on the car this is the correct tire size). Price is an object.

Thank you. I feel so stupid.....I'm 66, widow this is the first car I've bough on my own...bought from Buick dealer - paid cash, thought I was getting a car that would last me till I no longer drive. Should have test drove it on the Hwy....shakes so bad at 70 it feels like it will break apart. The dealer sold it "As Is" (Red flag)........and won't help me. Thanks again for the advice....at least I know the size that I need. It is a nice looking car and only has 38000 miles.. (live an learn)

There's a tremendous Volkswagen community in this country with huge gatherings in every state, even Hawaii. People of all ages are involved with these cars. Operating, repairing, customizing....if you could attend one of these get togethers, the advice and support would be invaluable. Where are you located?

There is a tremendous VW community in the LA area...some great meetups too. There's a huge gathering at Big Bear October 2-4... one of the groups I hung out with is involved with it. Dub-Nation.com The event is described at OccupyBigBear.com (it links to a Facebook event) Facebook is invaluable for interacting with these VW groups, too...do consider using that.
