Unless you have a complete electrical problem, the only time the fan should come on at start up is if the AC is on.

Hello Olivier, I am curiously if you solved the problem with fans which start up after the engine start. I have the same problem and I have no idea what could be wrong.

Has anyone solved this as I'm thinking to believe it can be the relay switch as when I knocked my fan it shuts off

Hello Craig, I changed both fans, temperature sensors, from alternator I changed the diode bridge and the relay an I have the same problem. In my case the command for fans to run is received from injection (engine) ECU.

In my case the car idles low when the fan runs, and my temperature gauge is not working. Can it be possible that the temperature sensor is sending the wrong signal to the ECU thus causing the radiator fan to run because the ECU thinks the engine is running hot?
