Yes i read it. It never says.It only tells "At temperatures below 39F a snowflake appears. It flashes at first. Then it stays on until the outside temperature rises above 43 F. The measurement range is from -40 F to 122 F. That is NO HELP !! I have no temperature at all on the display

I found it!!! It took forever For my Jetta, the place to change the display is on the windshield wiper control. On the bottom of the control it says "OK/RESET" press that then on the side of the wiper control it says "TRIP" toggle that and you will have a few choices TEMP, and REMAINING FUEL, and MILES TRAVELED etc are some of the options. Hope this helps, I know this was asked more than a year ago. Hope it helps someone else looking. IT was a PAIN trying to find

Appreciate it. I called the dealer where I purchased the car and they told me it was too complicated to explain, just bring it in and will take care of it, Riiight, for a mere $90 service fee. Thanks again.
