car starts up and will move but once warmed up will cut off if you stop to sit to long and you can smell the gas and the brakes seem a littlee harder to press for stop

goose the throttle, seems like your choke (or equiv)...er um what used to be the butterfly, don't know what's in there exactly, but it needs to be punched out of start up mode....when it warms up.

sounds like a heavy vaccume leak, intake? brake booster?do some checking
