Are Series III parts from a Jaguar XJ6 compatible with a Series II Jaguar XJ6

I am restoring a Series II 1976 Jaguar XJ6L and was wondering if Series III fuel pumps
could work since I am having trouble finding Series II fuel pumps

Should be no difference, unless you intend to use the pump off of a fuel injection model, in which case you will be sure to flood the carburetters.
